Puppet: Mostly the same as Ansible it is a management tool. But this allows not for users to SSH into the server or create VNC connection. Or when we need a forced security upgrade. change the backup script config we use this. We use it to change configuration on multiple servers. This is simple enough that the users can use it but it does not work for CentOS 6. It opens a browser SSH which gives full access to the server with just a password prompt. Teleport: All machines are visible, you can easily select them and 'connect' and select the user you want to connect to as. This works well with VNC as it offers NoVNC in browser. And the users gets root access possibility which they should not have. And the port changes as it is a tunnel through rport server. It requires the user to know how to connect to SSH via terminal / putty. We can setup a SSH tunnel which is the negative here. Rport: We do get all pc's grouped and we can give some users access to their servers. So this is our 'main' thing now and what we are trying to replace. This works well with VNC as the user can right click a server and select between Putty, filezilla, vnc and it all opens up pre-configured. It is easy for the user and we have possibility to group servers and add users to a group.

NeoRouter: We do get an IP for each server, we can use Neorouter GUI and right click -> Putty and it automatically connects with correct user and we have terminal. But real time ssh terminal is a must to be supported for the software. We do love if it has possibility for 'automatic' script execution aswell. Where people actually do SSH into the box and do configuration manually. All our configuration relays on SSH connection.
